NO MORE CALL!

When Kyle was offered his residency at UNC, we were so excited! We both new it would be challenging, but we truly had no idea how hard it would be for Kyle to be Q3! If you are like me, you are wondering what the heck "Q3" means. Even after Kyle explained it to me, I still didn't understand what it meant until we experienced it! Q3 means that Kyle was on-call every 3rd day. In other words, after working all day, he would work through the night every 3rd day. It was miserable and lonely for both of us. As of today, July 1rst!, Kyle NO LONGER has to take call EVER again. Never again will he be required to stay up all night. If he chooses to stay up all night with patients, he will get PAID for it! Congratulation, sweetie! You made it!
