It is no secret that I STILL miss North Carolina. I loved it there. Plain and simple.
Part of what makes A PLACE a HOME, is friends. Since we didn't have family in NC, we had to find our own, and we found some of the most wonderful friends who will always be part of our family. Suzanne and Kremer Nicholas are actually from Arkansas and they both did their residencies in North Carolina. The year before we moved here, they also moved back but to Hot Springs.
So, off we went this weekend to spend a wonderful weekend with them!
This picture was taken a few weeks before they moved back to Arkansas. Suzanne was pregnant. It was at least 100 degrees, and we were on a HOT train. But, all was good. Look at their little girl, Caroline! She is SO beautiful, and she and Kohen were a great pair for each other.
They spent most days together.
Fast forward a few years. Look at them! Time MUST slow down!
She is so cute!

And, even though they haven't seen each other in more than a year, they picked right back up like they hadn't missed a minute.

Oh my goodness...this is so cool. So, if you read our blog, you know that we LOVE the ice cream truck. Well, let me introduce you to the ice cream BOAT, complete with the music and everything. Hilarious!
