God really does have life's situations planned to perfection.
We prayed long and hard about where to move, and we ultimately decided to come back to Arkansas so that our boys could grow up with family. Kyle grew up with his grandparents playing a big role in his life, especially his grandpa who never missed a sporting event that Kyle participated in. That makes an impact on a kid, and we wanted our children to experience that. Several months ago, Kyle's grandpa was diagnosed with cancer, and after rounds of chemotherapy and much pain, his doctors told him that they weren't able to do any more chemo to help repair his body. Last night, Kyle received a phone call from his mom saying that Grandpa wasn't doing well. And, what an amazing moment that was simply because Kyle was able to hop into his truck, drive a few hours, and spend time with his grandpa to celebrate his life. That is exactly why we moved back here, and despite how much we are struggling with transitioning, these are moments we wouldn't have had if we still lived in North Carolina.
These are pictures from my most favorite Christmas-ever! I was pregnant with Kohen, and I loved toddling/waddling around with family. Kyle got a Wii for Christmas, and here's grandpa playing the Wii. It was so sweet!
My all-time favorite picture of these two!
Grandpa trying on his new jacket! So handsome!
Please pray for a celebration of life, and please pray for Kyle's family. This is a very touch time for them.

sometimes life works out just the way it's supposed to...so sorry for the sadness in your life right now. but so thankful you were able to be there with your family during it all.
thinking of you, girl!
