Happy Birthday, Mom!

Today, my Momma celebrates a special day.  September 11th will always be a special day for our family despite the horrible events that happened 10 years ago.  I remember parking my car in front of Old Main lawn because I was heading to class at the UofA.  I called my mom to wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY, and she asked me if I had heard the news.  Of course, I hadn't, but what a terrible day that became.  And, it must stink to share your birthday with such a memory.  My mom swears she no longer has birthdays, so here's to my mom's sorta birthday!

Happy Birthday, Mom!

PS. We surprised my mom with a little visit last night. My boys tore up her house, terrorized her dog, and they wished her a happy birthday!  I'm sure she enjoyed it too :)
